It's the beginning of winter in my neck of the woods, so the fire is going, and the sewing machine is out!
I take clothes who have lost their mojo. They are still awesome, with great fabric or styling, but they're been languishing in wardrobes with holes or marks, or they are a dowdy length. So, I patch or embellish or re-style the garment, mix in a little love, and voila a new lease of life is breathed into her (or him)! Let me present RE-loved fashion! We are happily settled back in our 50's bungalow, enjoying life in paradise! Azzizzi is back in her studio, bursting with treasures from Christchurch and the top of the South. I am very excited to announce that Detour Working Studio on Commercial Street, Takaka (behind Take Note) now stock my upcycled range of adult fairy dresses and skirts, bags, cards and jewellery. They will also stock some of my vintage clothing and china range in the coming summer season. So if you find yourself in downtown Takaka, be sure to pop in and check out my range. Sada and Darla will be very happy to show you around. In may this year our family returned to Sumner, Christchurch after nine years living in Golden Bay. All those years ago we left with our six month old son and our cat. Last month we reappeared with two sons, two cats, a dog and three chickens!
Azzizzi Vintage Store was originally a little shop in Redcliffs, which some of you will remember. I have already recognised some of my customers around the village, from those days. Azzizzi continued in Golden Bay, where I built up my business, mainly on Trade Me and with my famous Boutique Markets. Now I am very happy to have a little studio, albeit a short-term one, in Sumner Village. Almost all my stock has been gathered from Golden Bay and the greater Nelson area, so will be fresh and new for my Christchurch customers. I have some gorgeous warm vintage wool skirts, coats and blankets in stock, and tiny organic merino baby wear to keep every body toasty and warm! I will begin trading on Trade Me again this coming week, so be sure to check the link above for the great range I will be listing. I also have lots of creative ideas I am keen to begin making, as they have been brewing for ages! These will be for sale on this site and directly from my studio. I look forward to seeing old friends and new, as Azzizzi and I settle back into Sumner.  BOUTIQUE MARKETS
For the past 7 years Azzizzi has hosted the Boutique Market in Golden Bay during January, either at local halls or in our studio. This year is no different; we are planning a stunning turn-out for the Summer Boutique Market in January this year.
